Outdoor afterschool programming that gives kids space to explore, play, and build real-world skills.

About

Afterschool Adventurers Club provides outdoor, nature-based programming during afterschool hours.

Designed for schools, this program creates a structured but flexible environment where students can decompress, connect, and learn through experience.

How it Works

  • Delivered on school grounds

  • Outdoor play, movement, and exploration

  • Guided activities and skill-building

  • Social connection and teamwork

  • Safe, supervised environment

Current Locations

The Afterschool Adventurers Club is being facilitated at Dallas Harris Elementary School from January - May 2026.

What Students Gain

After a full day in the classroom, students benefit from:

  • Movement and unstructured time

  • Reduced stress and improved mood

  • Opportunities for creativity and independence

  • A healthy outlet that’s an alternative to screen time and highly-structured, adult-led enrichment programs

Bring Afterschool Adventurers Club to Your School

NOLA’s experienced outdoor educators partner with schools in Idaho’s Treasure Valley to bring the Afterschool Adventurers Club directly to students after a long day in the classroom.

Programs can be tailored to:

  • Site constraints

  • Group size

  • Schedule needs
