Join us for a field trip in the great outdoors!
NOLA is dedicated to enhancing outdoor educational opportunities both nationally and within our home state of Idaho. We provide place-based educational field trips across the Treasure Valley that align with the Idaho Content Standards for grades K-5.

Our permit covers any public park in the City of Boise. Our favorites include Veterans Memorial Park, Kathryn Albertsons Park, Kristin Armstrong Park, and Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve.
We also have space along the Garden City and Eagle Greenbelt!If you have another location in mind, please contact us.

Our 2 hour field trips can be facilitated any time between 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, September through May.
Most sites can accommodate up to 40 students. Groups will be divided into smaller cohorts with one NOLA educator per 20 students (a class chaperone is required for every 10 students).
NOLA will provide specialty field toileting facilities, all educational materials, and comfort supplies (hand warmers, extra hats/gloves/socks, and drinking water).
Please note: NOLA is unable to provide bussing/transportation services at this time.

$240 for 21 to 40 studentsAdult chaperones are free.

Children should come dressed in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a filled reusable water bottle.
Nametags are preferred but not required.

Bus drops students off at Veterans Memorial State Park. NOLA staff will meet the group at the pavilion for introductions and rule review. Chaperones will help students use park restrooms during this time, if needed.9:45 AM - 10:00 AM
