NOLA’s School-Based Programs elevate the student experience by combining the benefits of nature and specialized curriculum to deliver fun and engaging learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and foster connection to the wider world.

Our programs are age-adapted and standards-aligned for grades K-9th, and offered in increments of 12-week Sessions throughout the school year.

  • Outdoor Science Program

    Nature serves as the ultimate laboratory where NOLA educators bring the curriculum to life through immersive learning. By contextualizing educational concepts within the natural world, students engage in meaningful experiences that bolster their scientific literacy.

  • Outdoor PE Program

    With an emphasis on movement and self-awareness in the outdoors, this program encourages students to develop physical fitness while also fostering mindfulness and a deeper connection to their bodies, promoting overall health and well-being.

  • Nature Explorers Program

    This program focuses on enhancing Social-Emotional Learning by engaging students in a variety of nature-based activities designed to foster confidence and positive social interactions while deepening their sense of place.

  • Afterschool Nature Club

    After a long day in the classroom, the Afterschool Nature Club allows students to move their bodies in the fresh air and reconnect with nature through direct engagement and weekly themed activities.
