Erica Hermsen’s professional experience over the last 15 years has spanned the fields of education, childhood development, conservation, health & safety, regulatory compliance, corporate leadership, and nonprofit management.
Her breadth of skills and innovative spirit helped her launch one of the country’s largest and most successful forest schools in 2019. With a passion for both people and planet, Erica believes that reconnecting youth to nature is the antidote to the negative impacts of the modern childhood experience and the key to ensuring a healthier world for us all.
Erica has had the pleasure to work with a number of professionals, organizations, and individuals around the country to increase outdoor learning opportunities for children in a variety of capacities.
